A year ago I hosted the very first princess party. 6 months ago I hosted the second one. And this past weekend was the third. Each time has been a ridiculous amount of fun. I love these girls so much and I really just love giving them a chance to get all dolled up and go out and have fun. The princess parties are always a little bit different, but they have three main things: 1. Get dressed up and go out to eat. 2. Take group photos. 3. Princess movie/junk food/sleepover at my house.

While we were taking photos we found this GINORMOUS frog (I know it’s hard to tell in this photo, but it’s really huge. It was like the size of my hand). I kept trying to convince one of the girls to kiss it and see if it would turn into a prince.
After photos, we go back to my house and the girls always want to try on my wedding dress. And Megan got the girls excited by bringing hers as well! After the wedding dresses have been passed around from girl to girl we typically change into PJs and watch the princess movie (this weekend it was The Little Mermaid). And so far not a princess party has gone by that someone hasn’t requested to watch our wedding DVD. *grins*

OMG this is awesome!!!! My friends each chose a Disney Princess we most resembled/acted like and have since had that to kind of connect us even after moving away. Not that we dress up like them or anything, but it’s just the idea. Anyway, it would be perfect to have a princess party!!! Looks like so much fun!
What fun! If I lived nearby I would totally be on board for a princess party! I might need to do something like this with my 3 yo, she’d love it.

What an awesome idea!! If I had more girlfriends I would totally love this. I’m only close with 1 girl though (my bestie) and we would much rather suit up in our sport jerseys and cheer on our favorite team. We do love getting dressed up once in a while though
