Oh Oh Ree Oh

Name: Oreo

AKA: Oh Oh Ree Oh, Oars, Fuzzy, Fuzz Butt, The Fuzz,  Puppy, Pups, Great White Shark, Gator Mouth, Bud, and Snuggle Bud. [It's a miracle he knows his name with as many different things that we call him, haha!]

Stats: 50 pounds of fuzziness. Thinks he’s a lap dog.

Enjoys: Snuggling, walks, “family time,” his Kong, peanut butter, ice cubes, rawhides, playing with other dogs, chasing squirrels, snoozing in the sun, snoozing in general, playing with kiddos, drinking water from the tub, chasing a tennis ball, laser pointers, riding in the car, going to the dog park, and dinner.

His Story: I volunteer at the Humane Shelter and in January of 2010 an abandoned doggie was brought in. He was emaciated and one of his canine teeth was half missing (possibly from being kicked in the face). Shy, quiet and a bit wary of humans, he melted my heart. I started working specifically with him and fell in love. Christopher and I started taking him out for the weekends and giving him some special love and attention. We lived in an apartment so we knew we couldn’t give him the space that he needed. Then in April, we bought our house. We renovated it and it was finally completed the first week of July. First thing we did was go to the shelter and officially adopt our Oreo. :D

Adoption Day! July 10, 2010

Summer 2010

He’s always making himself comfy in the couch pillows with total disregard for the blanket we put down to keep the couch clean! Haha! Fall 2010
