Graceland Too

This past Friday night, Christopher and I took our friends, Courtney and Jacob, to Holly Springs, MS so they could experience Graceland Too. Long time readers might recall mine and Christopher’s first trip there last February.

Us just before going in… more than a little terrified

Why so scared? Well, this guy is a bit on the extreme side. It is truly a unique experience to tour his home (aka a shrine to Elvis). To read more about him and his home, check out this article from Roadside America.ย

Graceland Too! Last time we went it was all a bright light blue color and now it is this darker blue with black accents. Previously it had been entirely pink.

Graceland Too is literally covered in Elvis stuff – walls, floors, ceilings – everywhere. And every item has a story.

At one point during the tour, Paul (the curator/owner of Graceland Too) claims to have shot and killed Rudolph. Here, as you can see, is the proof.

The electric chair in his back yard

Needless to say, Paul McLeod gives quite the tour of his home. He is truly an Elvis fan and this really was worth going twice. In fact, the next time Christopher and I go (our third time) we will be lifetime members and never have to pay again!

If you are ever near Holly Springs, you definitely need to check it out! Just be prepared for a lot of arm grabbing, whistling for your attention, and some outlandish stories. Also, go with a group. Less terrifying that way and makes for great shared experiences. ๐Ÿ˜‰
