Sweet Littles

This past weekend we finally put away all our Christmas stuff which was sad. We took down all the outside lights pretty soon after Christmas, but the inside of our house still looked like Christmas day. We just love all the cheery decorations and lights. After it was all down and put away Christopher looked around the house and commented on how barren and sad our house looks right after taking it all down. And it’s true. 😦 But if we leave it all up year round then it won’t be as special. So it’s all packed up for next Christmas now. In happier news, I’m sharing one of my favorite photo shoots with you guys today! These three little kids are cousins and they are all so beautiful! All three of them are under 18 months old so it was kind of hilarious trying to get shots in between momentary meltdowns, but we got some good ones! πŸ™‚

  1. Those are precious!! I bet those kiddos are going to grow up being good friends.

Also, we took our Christmas stuff down this past weekend too. Sad on the one hand, but on the other, I’m glad to have my house back!

    • Yeah, it is nice to have the house back to normal, but I still miss all those twinkly lights. We don’t have an overhead light in our living room (for some reason most houses in Memphis don’t have overhead lights in the living room) so we use lamps instead. The Christmas tree was like a giant amazing lamp. πŸ˜‰ I probably just need to invest in a better lamp for the rest of the year, haha!

  2. adorable! i’m so glad i wasn’t the only one who still had some decorations up!

  3. Aw, what adorable photos! You did an amazing job!

  7. ADORABLE!!! So fun Rach! And our Christmas stuff is put away inside, buuuuut our lights on the porch are still up, not on, but up. Oops.

    • Haha! No worries! Our lights were up (but not on) forever last year too. This year we had a random 65 degree day right after we got back from Christmas so Christopher ran out there and took everything down before it got super cold again. πŸ™‚

  8. Oh my gosh! This photoshoot is precious! I love the photograph of the little girl reaching out for the boy’s hand! So adorable.

  9. These are darling! Great job.

  10. Those eyes! These kids!! I die πŸ˜‰

  11. Oh goodness, they are so CUTE! And I love the dog bed that Christopher made for Oreo! If we ever have more space, I’m totally going to make Steve build one like that for Max. I don’t think it would work well in our current house, since he’s kind of a giant haha.

  12. Aww.. they are such big cuties!!!!! Wanna squeeze them!
